Your mission

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Research Partnerships Working Student (m/f/d) to support our Funding & Research Partnerships Lead with day-to-day tasks and help manage research collaborations, explore funding opportunities, and contribute to the success of our innovative technology.

This is an excellent opportunity for a long-term working student who is eager to gain hands-on experience in market research, funding processes, grant writing and partnership coordination while honing their organizational and communication skills. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the scientific field, our product and its applications, as well as an in-depth understanding of the market and customers. 
  • Identify and help map funding opportunities for scientific and clinical projects, staying up to date on relevant programs and calls for proposals, while updating and maintaining our comprehensive database of global grant opportunities. 
  • Conduct ad hoc research across multiple sources (e.g., scientific literature, news, funding databases, and market developments) to support funding proposals and partnership activities. 
  • Assist in organizing grant application materials; selectively also support the writing of grant applications. 
  • Support the team in preparing presentations, reports, and other materials to communicate the scientific value and applications of our technology to diverse stakeholders. 
  • Leverage AI tools effectively to increase efficiency in research, content generation, and workflow optimization. 
  • Help coordinate meetings, track project timelines, and maintain organized documentation of ongoing projects and partnerships.

Your profile

  • A minimum of four semesters of university experience in a life science subject or related field is a must-have. M.Sc is considered an advantage. 
  • Interest in market research, funding or tender processes, and partnership development. 
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize complex information from diverse sources. 
  • Proven ability and strong interest in leveraging AI tools (e.g., for research, summarization, content generation, and workflow optimization) to work efficiently and enhance output quality. 
  • Proficiency in using online databases, search engines, and other research tools to conduct market research. 
  • Ability to create professional, well-structured presentations and reports. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail. 
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. 
  • English proficiency. German language skills are considered an advantage. 
  • Can dedicate a minimum of 18 hours per week. 
  • Minimum commitment of 12 months for the duration of the position is a must-have.
